What fields work best?
UPC or GTIN and model number produce the strongest matches. Brand, product title, manufacturer, supplier, and category still help when identifiers are missing.
What sources are included?
The screen covers records published by the Consumer Product Safety Commission, Food and Drug Administration, National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, and US Department of Agriculture.
Is every match a confirmed recalled product?
No. Results are candidates for review. Exact identifier matches are separated from fuzzy matches, and every result links to the official notice so affected models, lots, dates, and remedies can be verified.
How is sample data handled?
For the pilot, scope and file handling are agreed by email before transfer. Send a field list first if the catalog contains confidential or customer information; customer data is not needed.
